We moved into Yetholm six years ago now and instantly fell in love with the place and the people.

Town Yetholm a picturesque little village in the Scottish Borders only one and a half miles from the Border itself on the Scottish side . Positioned in the beautiful Bowmont Valley famous with Walkers and hikers only 1 mile from the end of the Pennine Way Easy access onto St Cuthberts way walking alongside the pretty Bowmont river. Continue up the Bowmont valley onto the Cheviot Hills.
We are also lucky enough to be right on the edge of the Northumberland National Park.
The village is fortunate to have two pubs both of which serve good food . The Plough will do breakfast if pre ordered only 100 metres from the front door, The Border Hotel is a ten minute walk over the river Bowmont.
A very well equipped village shop and Post Office also only 100 metres from the Bothy.
The very popular Border Town Kelso and all its lovely restaurants pubs and shops is seven miles away, there is a regular bus service to and from Yetholm
The stunning Floors Castle is a popular visitors attraction in Kelso.
Train service into the heart of Edinburgh from Tweed Bank, 19 miles away just outside Galashiels.
Bamburgh Castle and the beautiful Northumberland coast is approx 22miles away.
