Welcome to our charming Guesthouse Lanchvali!
Located in the historic part of Mestia, right next to the Margiani House Museum and ancient towers, our guesthouse offers a peaceful retreat with stunning views. This area is home to the Margiani family, one of the oldest and most well-known families in Svaneti.
Our guesthouse offers comfortable, private rooms—each with its own bathroom, heating for the winter months, and naturally cool temperatures in summer. Washing machine and ironing desk are available at any time. Whether you’re here for skiing, hiking, or simply relaxing, you’ll find everything you need for a pleasant stay.
Guests can enjoy a spacious shared lounge equipped with dishes, a teapot, a fridge, a microwave, PlayStation 5, board games, and a TV. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Step outside to our terrace, where you can relax in a hammock, or use a telescope for stargazing and mountain viewing.
Please note that reaching the guesthouse requires a short uphill walk—about 15 minutes from the city center. The path includes a steep, stone-paved section. During winter, the road can be slippery, and a 4x4 vehicle with winter tires is essential if you're arriving by car. While the road may be a bit of a challenge, the peaceful setting and panoramic views at the top are well worth the effort.
With two ski slopes nearby, scenic hiking trails, and cultural sites just outside your door, Guesthouse Lanchvali is the perfect base for exploring everything Mestia has to offer.

Next to the Guesygouse is the Margiani house-museum with an open tower, climbing which you can panoramically view the mountains and look into the open sky. Near the guesthouse there is a mountain spring. Several shops and a food market are within walking distance. We organize car trips to waterfalls, a glacier, ski lifts and outdoor picnics.
