Charming peaceful nature residence in Mariamakunda, a gated community on a nature park of 5 hectares, with 9 self-contain holiday homes and 1 luxurious villa. All are fully equipped and with private gardens and terrace(s). Reception, canteen with terrace, mini-shop, Wi-Fi and 24 hours security are on site. The swimming pool will soon be available. A fabulous place for nature lovers and birdwatchters! There are beautiful beaches just a few kilometers away. Two Rays Restaurant in Mariakunda (just a short walk) offers delicious lunch and dinner.
Also present in the park: • Three different types of bee hives in the various bee yards • The Honey Bee & Bird Education center • The honey processing unit • A shop with our local, natural produce like jams, honey, herbal teas and therapeutic cosmetics • The aloe Vera Fields • Our charitably Aloe Vera Burn Treatment Center for children and babies • Different wild-life drinking ponds and places for bird-spotting spread over the resort • Umbrella hut for volunteers and educational purposes like early detection and prevention of hypertension • Solar ovens and self-inventend solar leaf dryers • 10 minutes walk to the main road where you can find restaurants and bars. • 15 minutes drive to the beach and shops, supermarkets, restaurants, bars, etc. • 20 minutes drive to Senegambia entertainment area.
