Varasova is a mountain in Etoloakarnania located east of the Evinos River and west of Antirrio and Paliovouna. It is a huge volume of limestone rocks and its maximum height is 917 m. It is located in the southern part of the prefecture, between the rivers Acheloos and Evinos, at a distance of about 35 km from Agrinio and 37 km from Antirrio. It is a historic Municipality as some of the most dramatic moments of the Greek Revolution of 1821 took place in the city, the two Sieges and the Exodus of Messolonghi. Nafpaktos
Nafpaktos is a seaside town of Etoloakarnania in the Corinthian Gulf, the capital of the former province of Nafpaktia. This is confirmed by its perfect fortification, which starts from the port, continues with three consecutive walls and ends at the castle. It has been characterized as a traditional settlement.
