Welcome to Archanes Nature Retreat Residence! This bright full maisonette 140 sq.m. is located in the borders of Archanes settlement. Archanes is a small town in outskirts of Heraklion city, well-known for the history in wine, food & architecture. Built at an altitude of 380 meters in the middle of a basin bounded Giouchtas range and Kefala, is the perfect spot for the hiking lovers, with lots of trails nearby to explore and enjoy walking and observing the nature. The Residence can accommodate up to 6 guests in 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a spacious open space kitchen-living-dining area. The first and second bedroom are equipped with queen size bed with the third has a single bed and a small sofa bed that is suitable for a child (has a length of 180cm). All the bedrooms are located on the first floor of the property along with the master bathroom with the jacuzzi bathtub where you will have moments of relaxation and calmness. The ground floor is consisted of an open space where you will find a large, comfortable, and fully equipped kitchen, where you will be able to prepare any meal, you wish during your stay. The open space living room consisted of a big corner sofa where all the guests may relax, chat with each other, or watch any program at the 50inch smart TV. For our winter guests our modern fireplace is ready to give you the opportunity to enjoy moments of tranquility in a well warm and cozy atmosphere. On the ground floor there is also a complete nice, decorated bathroom with shower. All parts of the Residence are equipped with modern split AC units for both cooling and heating. On both floors you will have access to the outdoor terraces where you can relax and enjoy the sun, the blue sky and awesome view. There is also a Pergola with outdoor furniture and a charcoal BBQ for unique meals and moments for families and friends. This area is ideal for families since children may play safely in a large open space. Parties or large gatherings are not allowed.

Hi! My name is Anni Markodimitraki and I was born in Heraklion, Crete. I am a music/piano teacher. My family and I have been living in Athens since 2003. From 2022 I host guests at my house in Archanes! In my accommodation, every guest is unique and that's why I try to offer a special stay experience. Cleanliness is my primary concern. I try to have frequent communication with my guests to make sure they are satisfied with their stay. This spacious maisonette of 140 sq.m. will make you feel like home. A welcome box awaits you to start your most unforgettable vacation with coffee, sugar, oil, cookies and the traditional drink of Crete, raki! The fireplace and the private jacuzzi bathtub will offer you moments of relaxation. There is firewood provided for free. Each room has a view of the nature, the olive groves and the mountain, offering real peace and moments of pure relaxation, which I personally enjoy every time I am there. If you are a space lover, the property has a telescope to explore the stars in the clear night sky. I like reading, music, live concerts, theater as well as hiking in the nature, one reason why I love the village of Archanes with its countless gorges and paths. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged if there isn't another booking in the same day.
