Adamas is the port of the island and its tourist center during the summer months. There are two sandy beaches, Papikinou and Lagada. The most of the nightlife is to be found here. This village is one of the commercial centers of the island. In Adamas you can visit the Ecclesiastical, Nautical as well as Mineral Museums; here you can find some Banks; local infirmary, pharmacy and post office. The main bus station and taxi station are located in the main town square. A gas station is located on the beach of Papikinos, supermarkets, minimarkets and a kiosk at the city center.
