Chrisofilida was built four generations ago, in a time when the Caldera area of Santorini was a quiet, humble place. Our grandfather, captivated by the peace and beauty of this spot, decided to build a home here. His house became a symbol of warm hospitality, always open to guests, and his welcoming spirit is still at the heart of everything we do today.
Over the years, we’ve made thoughtful updates, blending modern comforts with tradition to preserve the villa’s authentic Santorinian charm. Committed to honoring both the land and its heritage, we’ve also embraced eco-friendly, sustainable practices to help protect Santorini’s natural gems. From its architecture to its atmosphere, Chrisofilida stays true to its roots, offering you a genuine taste of the island’s history and culture.
Welcome to Chrisofilida! I’m Elisabeth, and I’ve studied Foreign Languages and Intercultural Communication. As a child, I spent every summer in this house, always looking forward to its breathtaking view. When I started hosting, I quickly discovered how rewarding it is to help guests feel truly at home. For me, hospitality is about offering a personalized experience that makes each guest feel comfortable and valued.

Imerovigli is one of the most picturesque and peaceful villages in Santorini. Located between the city center (Fira) and Oia, it offers a quieter, less tourist-heavy experience while still having everything you need (restaurants, grocery stores, souvenir shops, a bar, and even a pharmacy).
Known for its breathtaking sunsets, Imerovigli provides an amazing setting away from the crowds of Oia. It's traditional whitewashed houses, blue-domed churches, and narrow streets create an authentic and timeless atmosphere, making it feel like you've stepped into a postcard.
For those who love the outdoors, Imerovigli is the perfect base for exploring. A short, scenic hike to Skaros Rock takes less than an hour, while the famous Caldera Trail offers a stunning 2-3 hour trek along the cliffside. As a local, I have done the trail multiple times and I promise you it has some of the best panoramic views of the island.
