Our little Hideaway was a dream come true. We built this by our own high standards, always considering the need for comfort and elegance with a coastal vibe.
Location:
Each studio is an airy, cozy mezzanine only 300 meters or a 5-minute walk away from the beach, and only a short walk from the center of Limenaria (700 meters or a 10-minute walk). There are plenty of restaurants in the center of Limenaria, as well as boat rental services and bars. Also, there are 2 supermarkets at about 4 minutes walk, and the nearest bus stop is at a 4-minute walk.
Many more beaches can be explored by car, but selecting to stay with us does not necessarily require a car.
Metalia Beach (organized beach), which is a historical site you can still visit, where Germans built a shipping port for mined metals and storage buildings, is only a 4-minute drive away.
Accommodations/Amenities:
Each mezzanine can sleep up to 4 people (1 bed located in the mezzanine and 1 sofa-bed in the living room). There is a small kitchen equipped with 2 burners (stove top), a sink, a fridge/freezer, and kitchenware. A coffee machine for those perfect espresso mornings, and a kettle if you are a tea person instead. You can enjoy your tea/coffee or even lunch/dinner outside on the spacious terrace, whether you prefer sitting on a bench or a chair. There is one bathroom for all guests in each studio located on the main floor that has a shower, toilet and sink. Both the mezzanine area and living room area are cooled/heated by one air conditioner, and there are 2 TVs (1 located in the mezzanine and 1 in the living room).
We have a great island, even though it is small, with a great history and much to offer. From salt pans and the naturally formed lagoon-sea pool Giola to the East of the island, to the historic German shipping port and Speidel Palace (offices and residency of the administration) in Limenaria (south). Blessed with mountainous terrain adorned by the traditional settlements of Kastro and Theologos in the center of the island. You can find a sparkly white marble beach on the north side, shaped by the marble quarry over the century. Visit the west side of the island for the best wineries and the Olive Oil Museum.
