I'm Danai and after working abroad for years, I decided to relocate to Stemnitsa, my place of origin for a new beginning. Therefore we are welcoming you to Grandmother Kanto's house which has been renovated with great care and has been refurbished in order to accommodate 14 guests in its 5 rooms. This has been our dream, to host travelers from all over the world giving them the opportunity to experience the arcadian hospitality in a unique house with rich history and vintage atmosphere, almost like a time capsule. Welcome to Kanto's house in the beautiful village of Stemnitsa, we hope you have a memorable stay!

Kanto's traditional guest house is situated in the heart of stonebuilt Stemnitsa village. It has been renovated with respect to the arcadian heritage in order to provide a luxurious and comfortable holiday experience. Each room uniquely decorated with artistic details turns your stay into an unforgettable journey through history and time. Kanto's Guesthouse can accommodate up to fourteen guests in five private rooms with en suite bathrooms and underfloor heating. All five rooms, "Sala"(formal room), "Heimoniatiko"(winter room), "Tholos"(dome), "Varelia"(barels) and "Kalyvi"(cottage)have their own style and different vibe and have been designed to offer a truly memorable stay in the heart of the arcadian mountains.

Stemnitsa is a picturesque mountain village in Gortynia with beautiful architecture, great history and is well known for its local quality products. Kanto's Guesthouse is in close proximity to the village square where the cafes and reastaurants are situated, as well as the artisan bakery and the food shops with traditional delicacies . On your walks you will come across numerous jewelery shops, as the village of Stemnitsa has a long tradition in goldsmithing and jewellery making.
