My favourite things to do here on Lesvos: cooking, visiting restaurants, eating nice food. I love swimming in the cool blue Aegean sea, discovering remote places and going on excursions over the island, if you like in an open jeep with a guide, walking or bike riding. We can even arrange a friendly taxi driver that can take you on your trips. Seeing wildlife and abundance of birds and the flowers during early season March till the end of May.

Something new, different and very traditional on the most magnificent Greek island of them all! Just open the door and walk straight out on to the beach at magical Skala Mystegnon. And what a beach it is - the beautiful white quartz stones of Kyparissis bring a subtle a touch of Mykonos to the east coast of Lesbos, but without the throbbing crowds.

Few places in Greece, the Aegean, or even Lesbos, have this kind of view (the purple hills of Turkey are just across the strait) with easy and inviting access to truly crystal waters - a mere pebble toss away. The Kyparissis Beach houses (two to choose from offering a special kind of seclusion - it's as if the beach is your own - and you are only a few minutes walk from the upper village of Mystegna, the archetypical Greek village in the hills and olive groves, its own little port - Skala Mystegnon. The capital Mytilini with its interesting museums, shops, cafeteria's and restaurants is a 25 minutes drive.
