Magnificent sea views from Melanthi’s pool terrace capture the essence of island living, sky and sea merging on the horizon. This handsome house is perfectly situated close to the shops and tavernas of Maganos village 600m away, with Alaties beach 3km.
Verdant olive and cypress trees stretch down to the coastline, creating a lovely backdrop to the covered dining area and gently shelving, private swimming pool.
Spacious, invitingly cool interiors with traditional touches greet the visitor, bestowing an ambience of calm and tranquillity, whilst never forgetting its Greek heritage. On the first floor, a balcony offers a great spot for sunsets and sundowners!

Fiscardo (5km) is a pretty village with a deep water harbour making it popular with yachts and local fishing boats alike. Lively, colourful and laid back, evenings spent here are a delight – sit back and enjoy. Closer to home, Maganos village has a sleepy laid back vibe, with two tavernas, a little bar, a mini market and a traditional Grocery, catering for the essential holiday needs!
Alaties beach (3km) is a pretty, quiet bay with one taverna and plenty of trees for natural shade, hidden away amongst orchards, fields and olive groves that tumble down to meet the sea. Near to the capital Argostoli, St George's castle is a marvellous medieval ruin set at the foothills of Mount Ainos and is open to visitors so why not take a break from the beach and enjoy some cooling summer breezes whilst embracing the unique history of Kefalonia.
Scattered around the island, several wineries welcome visitors to see the production process and sample some of the delicious local wines (crisp, refreshing Robola being one of the most well known).
