This recently renovated home was once the village schoolhouse. The home is ideal for one or two couples or a family with one or two children. (Note: Guests must be able-bodied. There are difficult stairs in the house) Nestled between the lower part of the village and the upper parts, it is a 20-minute walk downhill to the port, a 10-minute walk uphill to the village square, and an easy five-minute walk to the bus stop. Take your meal or a book up to the balcony and enjoy the spectacular views.
We live in America though we visit Greece every summer. We have a manager for the home named Maria who will greet you and open the house for you. She can also answer any questions you may have or offer help if need be. If you should ever need anything we are always available via phone, email, Messenger, etc.
The neighborhood around the home is quiet and quaint. It is the halfway point between the lower part of the village (Kato Chora) and the upper part (Pano Chora). This makes it easy for you to either walk down to the port or walk up to the square to go to the stores or tavernas.
Getting to the bus stop is simple walk from the house or you can also walk down the stairs of the village to get to the main port. To get to nearby beaches you can either walk or take a taxi (it is highly recommended to have a walking map of Serifos). To get to far away beaches it is highly recommended to either rent a car or take a taxi, although there are some buses. There is public parking a five minute walk away from the house, though during the high season (late July-August) parking can be difficult.
