This tropical decorated studio is located few minutes away on foot from the coastal zone of Nea Chora and its organized beach. Nea Chora was the first modern part of Chania to be built outside the Venetian fortification wall in the early 18th century which has a fishing harbor and an organized sandy beach with sun beds and parasols. The small road that runs along the beach is lined with coffee shops, taverns, snack bars and some of the best fish restaurants in town. Every summer, during the end of August to beginning of September, for ten days, the Municipality of Chania organizes sardine festival on the beach of Nea Chora that attracts many visitors. Usually on the 1st Monday of September is the highlight of the celebration with free grilled sardine fish, wine, music and dancing in the evening.
