The magnificent terrace with the amazing panoramic views towards the moutain but also the sea with the islands the whole village etc is something definitely special in this house because of it’s strategic position. The terrace is spacious and there is a bbq to complete the picture. The interior of this stone house is comfortable and warm. It has a traditional style with an artistic touch. There is hot water non stop and a wood stove for the colder days. Plenty of books to share along with fast internet. A small sized but well equipped kitchen for preparing your meals.

The host, myself, Ilias, I m here to welcome you, meet you at arrival and guide you home and help you if possible by covering questions you might have for the house or the area or share usefull information about them. But in the same time respecting your privacy and always trying to make you feel like home. I am born and raised in Athens but i live permanently in Tyros since 2015, at a private studio within the same plot. I have studied fine arts and graphic design and lived abroad Greece for few years. I love to travel myself so I can put myself in the guests shoes and feel the needs of one. My hobbies are to swim and hike but also football and basketball. I love cooking and visiting local markets of vegetables and fruits. You are all welcome to visit the area and stay in my house

The area of Upper Tyros has the advantage and beauty of combining the mountain with the sea. It is a quiet Arkadian village of traditional stone houses. Still there are plenty of beaches not far from the house in distance of 3 to 5 or 6 kilometers to satisfy different tastes. In a distance of 2 to 3 kilometres is the sea front part of the village where one can find shops, tavernas, bars etc. But in the same time the village is at the base of the mountain so the guests have access to beautiful hikes, climbings (in 15 to 20 kilometers is Leonidion with the red rocks and the climbing stages for the fans of the sport). Also near by there are few mountain villages for daily excursions. Or some bigger towns like the beautiful aristocratic Nafplion. Furthermore there are fairs, village celebrations, festivals or different kind of activities (running or swimming races) taking place around the area, mostly in the spring or summer but not only.
