“Nice and quiet place. Owner was very friendly. They got a restaurant just under the room but no noise at all. Very good food and fresh cold beer there. A few minutes walk to the town centre and bus station.”

Ruby 'n Emerald Studio's are on the second floor of one of the most historical and emblematic buildings, located in the heart of old town in Rethymnon. It was built in the late 19th century and there is speculation that it was the residence of a nobleman. Ruby 'n Emerald studio's are spacious and bright with their own bathrooms. On the same level, there is also a shared terrace.
Facing Cretan sea, Old Town is awash in Venetian Renaissance and Ottoman architecture, with its maze of cobblestone alleyways lined with museums, cozy tavernas, and restaurants offering traditional specialties. Pottery shops and artisan studios line Souliou Street, near the iconic Rimondi Venetian Fountain. The ruins of the 17th-century Fortezza Castle and the old harbor have city and sea views.
