Galaxidi is the prettiest of the low-key resorts on the north coast of the Gulf of Corinth. The town is graced with narrow cobblestone streets and two small harbours, and makes a pleasant base from which to visit Delphi. Galaxidi is tranquil with a pick of attendance during summer time to its numerous restaurants, bars and clubs. Galaxidi’s most prosperous period was between 1830 and 1910 when it was a major caïque-building centre.
