Convenient to all yet removed from everything, Theoreion boasts sweeping views of the island coastline and surrounding villages. Inside, bright white interiors with aged wood and earth-tone tiles contrast with the deep blue of the sky. Not far from the main entrance, trails let you get even closer to the sounds and smells of Amorgos. Like you, we know that to travel is to embrace life. Whether you get your glow through meditation, or simply good food and fresh air, take the first step here and experience heartfelt hospitality.
Born and raised in Athens, I have now lived outside of Greece longer than I have lived in it. Travel has been a constant in my life for the better part of the last two decades. In Amorgos, nature has always invited me to take notice - to feel the sun on my skin, the ground beneath my feet. Out here, one is truly free because what is to hike or to swim, but to play? We hope Theoreion unlocks something special for you too, stirring up visceral memories of taste and place, and inspiring more to come.
Theoreion is only a 5-minute drive from the port of Aegiali. Depending on one's mobility status, there is the option of walking to local amenities. We would recommend that you either bring a car/motorcycle/bicycle to the island, or hire one locally.
