Hello, my name is Haris and I am 42 years old, I am married to Katerina and we have two children.
The villa is a privately owned house, full of touches designed and built by us, as it is something we love to do.
In my professional life I work at the Ministry of Justice. Also like most on the island of Crete, I have fields that produce excellent olive oil, wine, raki, where we enjoy it ourselves, family, friends and all our visitors, as we offer them as a kind welcome. Also, many of the fruits and fresh eggs you will find are from our parents' farm. We love nature, its beauty as well as the goods it can offer in abundance.
We love the sea and camping next to it, it is a unique experience and we recommend it to everyone.
Underwater fishing is my favorite hobby and I believe we can live such an experience with anyone who wants it as our area has a unique marine wealth and many who love this activity.
We will be very happy to host you, giving you special information and help to make your stay in Crete unforgettable.
Just 200 meters away from the villa, you will find the beautiful beach of Kolymbari, where you can enjoy your swim in the clear waters of the Cretan Sea. In addition, you can find a mini market, from where you will get the essentials during your stay.
Kolymbari is a small seaside town with a population exceeding 5000 inhabitants, located 24km west of Chania, at the westernmost point of the long bay of Chania, at the east base of Peninsula Rodopos. Kolymbari is fairly well developed, mainly due to the beautiful long beach that stretches in front of the village and extends east to Tavronitis. The beach in Kolymbari is sandy and in some places has small pebbles. The water is not too deep, but the sea is usually wavy (like most open beaches of northern Crete). Next to the beach there are many options for food and entertainment.
If you seek a quieter beach, you can visit the small coves near the monastery of Gonia, 1km northwest of Kolymbari. Boats run from the port of Kolymbari to Cape of Rodopos, with its imposing cliffs and the small quiet beaches.
