The swimming pool with Jacuzzi is located in a well-manicured lush garden, providing a comfortable, tranquil, relaxed environment for the guests. The windows and balconies in each floor give a panoramic view to Kissamou cape and the hills surround the village. It is furnished with aptest and simplicity with Cretan antiques, reflecting the personal taste of its owner.

We are Fotini and Giannis Xirouchakis and we are delighted to be able to live in this beautiful island CRETE with our two children. Fotini’s family has owned this old house for over 100 years and 14 years ago we made a decision to restore the villa as a rental property. We wanted the opportunity to be able to meet people from all around the world and thus get to know different cultures and the traditions of many countries. As we live in Chania no so far from villa ARHONTARIKI, we are available to assist our guests with every aspect of their vacation: sightseeing, tours cruise ,beaches , wine tasting, restaurant taverns recommendations or shopping.

Arhontariki Villa is located at the beautiful village of Kaliviani in the beginning of the peninsula of Gramvoussa, 6.5km to the west from Kastelli Kissamou. The beauty of the village can be attributed to its wonderful stone houses and to the many flowers that blossom in every yard. Its people are friendly and hospitable. The tradition is alive in Kaliviani, since even today the houses are built the traditional way, with stones, by skillful technicians. Kaliviani is a romantic village near the sea with its hills and mountains. The sea is about 10 minutes away by foot with many olive groves around. Farmers growing herbs and vegetable, others have sheep and goats. Kaliviani - residents Kaliviani is a little old village with original and also restored houses. Once all the houses where connected together so the people could flee into the caves in the mountains behind. Still now you can see some of the old arcades in the houses.Nowadays Kaliviani has about 300 residents living here year round.Here you can see a BMW besides a donkey, a poor little home opposite a villa.
