Relax under the shade of your private forest Villa Kalamitsi is a 115 square meters villa, located on a hill inside a private fenced forest of 2,000 square meters! Ideal for people who want to relax under the sound of the nature around and be close to the beach and living areas! The villa which is decorated in a traditional Cretan style can accommodate 6 people in beds and a maximum 7 people if necessary. On entrance to the villa you will find a spacious open plan area with a fully equipped authentic kitchen, the living room area with satellite HDTV and the indoor dining table! From the living room area, you have direct access to the balcony which offers great views of the landscape. On the other side of the ground floor, next to the living room area there are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The main bedroom which hosts a sitting area and an en-suite bathroom with shower has a king size bed in the attic! Also there are two more bedrooms both with two single beds and the main bathroom with bath! Outdoors the villa has two levels. On the upper level and at the rear of the villa you will find a barbecue area under the trees, a vegetable garden, sitting areas in the forest and a children's playground with grass. The barbecue is fully equipped containing a wood stove and an outdoor dinning table! On the lower level there is a 40 sq. m. pool with sun beds and another sitting area with a small fridge and a toilet. The whole outdoors area is completely fenced, offering 100% privacy to our guests! Small events are also acceptable upon request.

At a distance of 5 to 10 minutes drive from Villa Kalamitsi are the villages of Georgioupoli - Vammos - Vryses where you will find super markets, taverns, cafes, banks, etc. In the village of Vammos there is the closest medical center. The only natural lake of Crete, Lake Kournas is very close to the villa too. The closest beach is in Georgioupolis village. As you drive to Rethymno city you may enjoy swimming at the coast line and having your lunch at the beautiful taverns that you will find there.
