A modern, well appointed villa with private infinity pool in a stunning setting overlooking the Aegean Sea and Cretan mountains. The villa is a 10-minute drive from the charming town of Agios Nikolaos and a few minutes drive from some of the island's best sandy beaches. Spacious terrace has barbecue facilities and sun loungers for the pool. Large living area includes dining table, sofas and television as well as a fully equipped kitchen. Upstairs, two double bedrooms, two bathrooms and shared balcony.
My wife Madeline and I are fortunate to own a delightful villa overlooking the Bay of Mirabello and the foothills of the Dikti mountains in northeastern Crete. When we're not in it, you are welcome to enjoy it. Our tirelessly efficient property manager Kym, whose self-avowed "fetish for cleanliness" is evident throughout the villa, is nearby and available at all times for queries and to maintain the pool. A welcome pack with information and a few essential groceries will be waiting on arrival. For anyone staying more than a week, there will be a change of sheets and towels.
Superb sandy beaches with clear water are a 5 minute drive away. Also nearby are a range of historic sites and picturesque mountain villages, such as Kritsa. The beautiful Lasithi Plateau with eagles soaring overhead is just over an hour away. Bars, tavernas, cafes in the small town of Istron are reachable within minutes and the buzzing town of Agios Nikolaos, with its famous lake, offers more choice for shopping and evening entertainment. You will need a car. The drive from Heraklion airport takes just over an hour.
