My wife and me are history teacher, so we can tell you a lot about the history of Osijek.

Ideally located in the centre of Bosutsko naselje, this is a place for people to relax and enjoy the view. Visitors can take in the natural surroundings on lovely park benches, on a scenic stroll or by cycling the paths. The apartment is located near many amenities such as the "Gradski vrt" stadium, the sports arena, an indoor pool, a variety of restaurants and the historic centre of Osijek itself, with the baroque fortress of Tvrđa. Osijek has more parks and green spaces than any other city in Croatia. All the major places of interest are within walking distance of the apartment. Public transportation is available and the bus stop is conveniently located near the building (1 minute away). There is also tram stop 5 minutes away. Taxi service is cheap and fast. All the major places of interest are within walking distance of the apartment: Small "Mall" (3 minutes walk) where you can find stores (Konzum, DM), ATM machine, bank, flowershop, bookies (place for betting). Also there is McDonald's (less than 5 minutes walk), gas station and restaurant. Close by (1 minute walk) is another store, butcher, coffee shop/pub, another gas station, kiosk, bakery...
