Betina is a settlement at the northeast coast of the island of Murter which is connected to the mainland with a drawbridge in Tisno. It is located 35km west of Šibenik. The symbol of the town is the Baroque church of St. Francis with a Bell Tower, a local square with a port on the sea and the local shipyard, which is by the oldest of Pelješac in the Adriatic. In the nearby bays of Shallow Bay and Kosirini are 2 camp, and in the resort and marina Betina and numerous catering facilities widely known for its fish specialities.
