Despite its secluded mountain setting, the property is conveniently close to the Adriatic coast. A half-hour drive brings you to the sea, offering the best of both mountain and coastal living. Perfect for nature lovers, the area is a haven for hiking, climbing, and biking. Outside, guests can enjoy a rustic kitchen with a barbecue, along with a cozy fire pit designed for gathering under the stars. From here, the view opens toward the mountains, creating an unforgettable atmosphere for evenings spent outdoors.
Hello! My name is Marko, and I’m from Šibenik, Croatia. In 2021, I bought a small cottage in the woods and took on the rewarding project of renovating it from the ground up.
The property is located within the Velebit Nature Park, close to Karlobag and Baške Oštarije. Nearby are numerous Velebit peaks, the Northern Velebit National Park and Paklenica National Park, as well as the stunning Zavratnica Bay and the island of Pag. The wider area of the property is dotted with other mountain lodges and a small campsite, making it a true meeting point for hikers, climbers, and outdoor enthusiasts from all over the world. This combination of mountain and coastal surroundings makes the location ideal for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts who wish to explore the diversity of Croatia’s natural beauty in one place.
