Hello! I’m Maja, a perfectly imperfect local and the founder of Eila—a way of hosting that comes from the heart.
I host with lovely local owners who share the same belief that genuine care, local tips, and thoughtful recommendations matter far more than the pure design of a holiday home.
At the end of the day, it’s not just about where you stay—it’s about the host's care, experiences, and connections you make along the way.

Behind every unforgettable stay is a personal touch.
A host who shares heartfelt recommendations and local secrets makes all the difference.
We invite you to stay with us, not just for the comfort and beautiful views of our home, but for the thoughtful guidance that will surely enhance your experience.
In our home you’ll find warm atmosphere, comfort, breathtaking sea views, closeness to the beach, only 300 m away, and all the necessary amenities for a relaxing stay. But what matters even more beyond the walls of our home is our guidance.
The online information that guests mostly rely on are often outdated—restaurants change chefs, new places pop up, and old favorites close. Plus, the best experiences often come from small family-run businesses that pour love into what they do, yet many of them don’t advertise online.
And that’s why choosing a caring host and not just a home means so much more -it’s about up-to-date tips and my knowledge as a local. I live here, know the region best, and love sharing its treasures with my guests.

Just 300 m from the apartment, you’ll find the nearest beach, along with a restaurant, beach bar, and bakery. Grocery shops, the local marketplace, additional restaurants, and coffee shops are 1 km away.
One of the highlights of this region is the Zrmanja River, known for its waterfalls and dramatic Zrmanja Canyon. Taking a boat trip through the canyon, marveling at the spectacular scenery, and kayaking along the river surrounded by splendid nature and waterfalls are experiences worth having.
And there’s plenty more to discover in this region. From nearly 200 km of walking and hiking trails in Paklenica to underground caves, and hundreds of kilometers of bike paths, there’s something for everyone. If you're looking for a more relaxing experience, enjoy exploring the beauty and history of numerous Dalmatian stone towns, stand-up paddling, fishing, or simply unwinding on the beach. The choice is yours!
Novigrad is perfectly situated in the middle of a rhombus formed by four stunning national parks: 30 km to NP Paklenica, 50 km to NP Kornati, 70 km to NP Krka, and 120 km to NP Plitvice Lakes. The ancient city center of Zadar is 30 km away, while Zadar Airport is 22 km from the apartment.
Please note that the restaurants, bakery, beach bar along with experiences like boat trips, kayaking etc. are seasonal (May to October).
To fully experience the beautiful Dalmatian region, we recommend renting a car if you’re not traveling with your own, as public transportation is limited and taxis are not available.
For an eco-friendly option, you can rent an electric bike or scooter to explore the Novigrad area at your own pace.
