Located in the heart of Mljet National Park, Guesthouse Pomena is surrounded by sea and nature and set in a quiet area without traffic. There is a bar and restaurant on site, while a spacious shared terrace with a seating area is available for all guests. Free Wi-Fi and free parking are provided. The accommodation units are air-conditioned and fitted with a sofa, a TV and a private bathroom with a shower. The Island of Mljet offers numerous rocky wild beaches and secluded bays all around. The nearest beach can be found just 50 metres away and features various facilities, pools for kids and a beach bar. Diving courses can be organised on site, while numerous bike trails are spread around the island. Guests can rent cars, scooters, bicycles, kayaks and canoes or windsurf along the coast. A lake famous for healing mud properties can be found just 300 metres away. There is a grocery store 50 metres from Guesthouse Pomena, while a bus station is just 20 metres away. Sobra Ferry Port can be reached in 25 km.

All admirers of true nature and peace, will enjoy an unforgettable vacation in the pension of Strazicic family in the settlement of Pomena located in the heart of the National park Mljet. In the pension complex there is also a fish restaurant "Pomena" with a rich choice of fish and homemade specialties, local wine and brandy, goat cheese in olive oil and other delicious meals.

Our family has been working in tourism business for over 4 decades. We enjoy fishing, biking, hiking and exporing beautiful National park. We also make wine and olive oil, which can be tasted in our family restaurant

Pension Strazicic is situated in the attractive bay of Pomena, it is only 300 meters away from the miraculous Small Lake, famous for its healing mud and water temperatures over 30 degrees celzius in July and August. In the vicinity of the pension are the island of St. Mary in the Great Lake with the ancient Benedictine monastery dating from the 12-th century, remains of the late Roman palace in Polace, the view point Montokuc and other points of interest. The island of Mljet as an Adriatic oasis of unspoiled nature is an unavoidable destination for many tourists and yachtsmen who anchor their ships in the bay of Pomena whose excellent locaton provides a true spot for an extraordinary summer vacation in the pension of the Strazicic family.
