Beautiful Rovinj Antiche Mura Deluxe Studio The Exceptional Studio Apartment in an old, authentic townhouse in Santa Croce street, one of the most picturesque streets in Rovinj, contains three stylish, newly renovated studio apartments. Ideal for couples on romantic getaways or solo explorers. Our brand new and comfortable studio apartment is equipped with luxurious features and a kitchenette. Part of the ancient fortified city walls are visible throughout the house. The nearby 16th c original gate St. Croce is part of the same stone walls.

The running of these Apartments is a relatively new enterprise for me and my two sons. We fell in love with this charming property in 2018, purchased it and renovated it with care and love. Our vision is that it provides a comfortable home base for our guests, so that they too will fall in love with it. It has been a rewarding and exciting experience thus far. We take a lot of pride and pleasure in welcoming visitors from around the world to Rovinj, one of the most beautiful places in Croatia.

The Old Town is a pedestrian-only zone with narrow streets and lots of foot traffic. It is a beautiful picturesque area and visitors enjoy exploring the labyrinthine passageways and unexpected views. The apartment is located on a main route to St Eufemia Church. The legend says that in the night of 13 July 800, a sarcophagus carrying the body of St. Euphemia floated from Constantinopolis into the small cutting in the sea rock under the church of St. Cross. This is one of the most famous landmarks in Rovinj and it is situated just a few meters from our house. From the apartments windows you can see a purple facade of a little medieval church of St. Cross featuring an elegant loggia, which preserves a small collection of stone monuments and inscriptions. Prefect Francesco Baffo had the church built on the rocky beach outside the town walls in 1592. The church was restored at the beginning of this century and is nowadays used as an atelier.
