A beautifully constructed oak house made in a traditional style at the beginning of the last century but decorated to a high standard throughout for a comfortable stay. Located in a rural location on the edge of a forest with fantastic views of the local countryside our place is ideal for people seeking peace and quiet and the opportunity to connect with nature.
Guests may be surprised to find an English lady hosting them during their stay in this part of Croatia. I retired here from London over 15 years ago and love the location and its people. Valentina is local to Maruševec and helps me offer the best possible experience of our little corner of paradise!
We are located in the small village of Maruševec with its famous castle and wonderful walks nearby. The beautiful baroque town of Varazdin with its historic attractions is only 12 km away.
