Artist Residence is located on the full 5th floor of a beautiful, but old historical building in the real centre of Budapest right in front of the metro station. The rooms get a lot of sunshine because they are located on the top floor of the building. From most of the room there is a breath-taking panorama, you can see all over the view of Budapest. In the early 20th Century this entire 5th floor was painters and sculptors studios, that’s why we choose the name Artist Residence. We made modern redesigned rooms. Our aim was to provide you perfect location, comfort and of course cleanness.
Artist Residence is a family run business. We love to travel and we always try to find new ideas about accommodations around the world. We believe that comfort and cleanness are the key factors of a perfect stay.
The Rákóczi tér neighbourhood is the perfect location to start to explore the beauties of Budapest. Right at the corner there is one of the oldest and beautiful covered market. On the Joseph Boulevard (József Körút) there is the key public transportation tram of Budapest (tram no. 6 and 4.) that takes you all around the city. The metro station is right in the front of the building. Most of the activities you would do in Budapest can be reached within a walking distance: the nightlife around Kazinczy Street, the National Museum. The vibrant neighbourhood with a lots of university students of Mikszáth Mihály tér and the Universty Library is within a five minute walk.
