Fügekert (FIG GARDEN) is situated in Zánka, a charming village on the north side of the lake Balaton, the biggest lake in Central Europe with many attractions to visit. Guest can easily walk through the village to get to one of the nicest beaches of Balaton, Zánka beach. Fügekert was named after an old fig tree that is located in the garden, adding a Mediterranean touch to the traditional central European-style village house. The guest house was renovated recently with the aim to combine the traditions with unique contemporary style and design.

The north side of Balaton is a stylish, calm and ideal location for relaxing and active holidays. Tihany, Balatonfüred, Révfülöp are among the most popular cities nearby next to the lake. The other area of attractions relate to the Kali base (Káli medence), which is a picturesque area populated by artists and other creatives who prefer to get away from the crowded places to a calmer and relaxing, still vibrant neighbourhood. This area is also known as a wine region that produces excellent wines. Last but not least, fine dining and gourmet restaurants and confectionaries are also around including Köveskál, Salföld, Káptalantóti, Szentbékálla, Monoszló and Mindszentkálla.
