There is a double bedroom, a sofa bed in the main living room and also a cozy mezzanine with a double bed, colourful traditional kilim pillows and a bright ceiling cover, giving the space the atmosphere of a romantic hideaway. The bathroom contains a large and luxurious traditional bathtub and there is a separate toilette. The apartment comes with all modern conveniences and fixtures, including wi-fi, cable tv, flat screen TV, well-equipped kitchenette with Nespresso and washing machine. High ceilings with printed frescoes and tall double doors contribute to the blend of the historical and the modern which gives this apartment its unique charm. Please, feel welcomed to my home! My name is Yvette Nádi. I am an economist, used to be a tourist guide and more recently a proud mother of two teenagers. I feel I'm on the way as well as on the right track while travelling and hosting. Being in love of my home town, Budapest, and its natural surroundings, such as the Danube Bend, my wish is to share theirs beauty and wonders with my guests. The apartment is based in a very quiet street right in the heart of the city on the Pest side of the Danube. It is a very short walk away from the famous landmarks Elizabeth and Chain bridge which you can cross to reach the historical Buda side of the city. Just around the corner from the apartment is Deák tér, the central city square, which is the main transport hub for the city and around which the nightlife of Budapest radiates. Much of that nightlife takes place in Budapest's famous ruin pubs, clustered around the more upmarket Gozsdu courtyard, and this party district is also easily reachable on foot. In equally easy walking distance is Váci utca, Budapest’s main shopping street; Andrássy út, the city’s most elegant avenue; and Gerbeaud, a refined and elegant traditional Hungarian coffee shop. For those who appreciate arts and culture, the Opera House, the National Museum and Europe’s largest synagogue are also all within a few-minute walk.
