GILDED PALMS VILLA is managed by Yandi Suyandi - a charming and dynamic young Indonesian man in his mid-thirties. Yandi has spent the whole of his working life in the hospitality sector. He began his career as the Guest Services Manager at PESONA JAKARTA, an upscale accommodation in the Indonesian Capital. He later landed a position with INDOEXCURSIONS – an international tour operator based in Jakarta – where he served as its Indonesian consultant. He then moved from Jakarta to Bali to assist in the establishment of CHRIS’ CAFÉ - a trendy Café and Pool Bar – which he managed for its first two years of operation. And, eventually, Yandi joined forces with local investor, Ian Saepuloh, to open GILDED PALMS CO-LIVING RESIDENCE – a luxurious shared villa designed exclusively for mature travellers seeking long-term stays and meaningful connection with other like-minded mature guests. Today, Yandi serves as a wonderfully hospitable host for GILDED PALMS, ensuring that every need of his guests is met. And, with his outgoing and personality, Yandi creates a social setting where guests feel free to interact as casually as they would in the humblest of homestays – making GILDED PALMS truly feel like a “home-away-from-home.” For Yandi Suyandi, GILDED PALMS is the realisation of a dream, and we are honoured to have him as a key member of our team.
