My name is Acok and I'm, together with my wife, the owner at Guava Garden. I am originally from Gili Trawangan and was born and raised here and have loads of family on all the Gili islands and also Lombok. Back in 2008 I met my wife, Ellen whom is from Sweden and now we are married and have a daughter.
Since I was born on Gili Trawangan i know alot about the Island and I'm always happy to tell you about what i know.
Two of my favorite hobbies include Bonsai trees, so please have a look at the bonsai trees me and my friends have in the back of Guava Garden, and fishing. I love fishing and try to get out often. If we get a bog fish we often invite our guests to join us when we eat it. I you also like fishing let me know and I'll help organize a fishing trip. I also really enjoy cooking and used to work as a chef and sometimes, if the guests are interested we put together a traditional dinner for everyone staying with us.

Guava Garden is a small personal hotel where the guests can feel like home. We have tried our best to be kind to the small island of Gili Trawangan that we call our home. All of our rooms use Bio-tech septic tanks that are more gentle to the island, we do not provide our guests "one-time-use plastic products" like small shampoo bottles, also we do not have small water bottles in the rooms. Instead we use refill shampoo dispensers and free mineral water refill in all rooms. All in a try to minimize the plastic waste.
Our swimming pool is surrounded by a green garden and we have a cozy gazebo for you to chill out in any time of the day.
The rooms all have private terraces with daybeds surrounded by green plants to give you a more private area.
Because we are a small hotel with only five houses the atmosphere is very personal and if you're a group of friends that books five rooms you'll get the whole place to your selves!
We always strive to make our guests feel like home with us and our goal is for you to feel like a part of our Guava Garden Family.
周辺エリアの情報
Guava Garden is located on the east side of Gili Trawangan 350 meters from the busy beach walk. our neighborhood is quite new and have grown up the last five years. The street, Jalan Karang Biru, is one of the busier ones on the island and the walk up to us has a 24 hour open "warung" (local restaurant with a small shop) which means it is never completely empty of people any time of the day. Guava Garden is located away from all the nightclubs noise in a more quiet but alive area. Gili Trawangan is a Muslim island and like all places on Gili Trawangan we hear the mosque call for prayers a couple of times per day. For most people this is part of experiencing the real Indonesia but for some the sleep might be effected before they get used to it and for those we offer earplugs.
