We’re located in the Old Village of Gili Air, just a short stroll from the island’s main road with its souvenir shops, local restaurants, and supermarkets. The beach is only about 300 meters away, making it easy to slip into the sea for a swim or soak up the sun. The harbor is just 400 meters from your door, and the neighbourhood is as warm as it is quiet—smiling locals will greet you cheerfully in Bahasa as you pass by. We are gradually making improvements with new bed linen, hand and body wash, shampoo aonditioner etc, replacing as much plastic as we can; and investing in Lombok water, movign away from the town well water. We are a Tasmanian couple who fell in love with Gili Air, and serendipitously jumped at the chance to run Utopia from September 2025.
