I am an Australian born "world citizen" but a permanent resident of Bali & have spent the last few years in Bali renovating & also traveling around Bali & Indonesia. We have a huge 40 metre long pool which , like all Balinese pools ,is not fenced. Please ensure that children can swim before you consider staying here as we are very safety conscious.

The property has separate suites set in the grounds & they overlook the 40 metre long mineral anode pool & beautiful gardens. This area is a essentially an ex-pat area with no local compounds, so there are no chickens or pigs at the back fence. The street is not a through road and the area is very quiet. There are local shops, restaurants & warungs close by & the beach & town are is a flat 1 km walk. Taxis are really cheap & readily available. Cars with or without drivers can be hired quite cheaply as can motorbikes & bicycles. You will need an international drivers license as your country of origin license is not acceptable. None of neighbours nor ourselves have ever felt threatened or been robbed and the Balinese really go out of their way to give assistance in every way. There is a lot to do in Bali but most things will require time in a tour vehicle to get there. Distances are not far but traffic is slow & roads are very narrow
