Welcome to Villa Wilali, our family-owned beachfront retreat in Pemuteran, North Bali. Set within 3,500 square metres of tropical garden, the villa’s open layout makes it easy to spend time together. Four air-conditioned bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, connect to a central living area that flows onto a wide terrace, garden, pool and beach. The setup suits families and groups, with rooms to gather and quiet corners to unwind.

We first came to Pemuteran twenty years ago through a shared love of scuba diving, and it’s been part of our lives ever since. Villa Wilali is our second home — built with care and intention, visited as often as we can. Our children grew up holidaying here and are now certified divers too, continuing our family’s bond with the sea and the community. We believe travel should be restorative and real. Whether guiding guests to quiet snorkelling spots or simply making sure the villa feels relaxed and thoughtful, we love sharing this place. Our team — many of whom have been with us since the beginning — take care of the details with quiet competence, so guests can fully unwind. Direksen, our villa manager, is on hand to arrange everything from airport transfers to excursions and special requests, while meals can be ordered from our villa menu and prepared by Jero, our wonderful on-site cook.

Pemuteran is a peaceful coastal village in Bali’s unspoilt northwest, tucked between sea and mountains. It’s known for its laid-back pace, friendly locals, and uncrowded beaches — a rare retreat from the island’s busier south. A short boat ride takes you to Menjangan Island, home to vibrant marine life, crystal-clear waters, and the menjangan — a type of local wild deer. Locally, guests can snorkel or dive at Pemuteran reefs and the nearby Biorock reef restoration site, where submerged steel structures support coral regrowth in calm, shallow waters — ideal for beginners and experienced divers alike. Other activities include visiting the nearby Pulaki Temple, perched dramatically by the sea and often flanked by curious monkeys. For those wanting to stretch their legs, a staff-guided hike to Pura Batu Kursi leads to a hilltop shrine with sweeping views over Pemuteran Bay — especially magical at sunrise or sunset.
