Your host Tommy is a very proud Kerry man, in fact he can talk for hours about the glory of Kerry. Now, don’t even think about getting him started on Kerry Football unless you have a few hours to spare. Tommy has always had a love of West Kerry and as a child, holidayed ‘Back West’ in and around Dingle (even though ‘Back West’ was only 30 minutes from his home in Tralee ). In 2004, Tommy purchased a site in Camp and built his home. While he always loved Camp, he also fell in love in Camp. Tommy married local lady Marcella after meeting in the local pub and the rest is history. Tommy is a keen walker and loves discovering new routes. He is a member of the local walking group and if you are around on a Tuesday night you can join them on a walk, followed by a compulsory pint in one of the local pubs.
Follow us to beautiful Kerry, where you will find a wonderful glamping site in, you won’t believe it, a place called….Camp. What are the chances! Camp is a small, super cute village on the foot of the Slieve Mish Mountains nestled on the Wild Atlantic Way . While our beautiful PODS are only gorgeous, they pale in comparison to the vistas. The Wild Atlantic waves of Tralee Bay, Brandon Mountain , The Dingle Way and Kerry Head are your playground for the duration of your stay. Our beautiful beach is less than a 10 minute stroll. You can enjoy breakfast in O'Dwyers Cafe located just a 2 minute stroll from your Pod. Dine out in the evening at Ashes Bar and restaurant on site. You can also visit The Junction Bar and Restaurant less than 1km away followed by a drink by the fire in The Railway Tavern. When you want an escape from towns and cities Camp has everything you need.
