Crew's Apartment

Crew’s Restaurant and Apartment Accommodation is a family run business situated in a building with a rich heritage and origins that date back to the 16th Century. The building stands proud in the heart of Dungarvan town in County Waterford directly across from and overlooking the beautifully restored King John’s Castle. The building is proud to be registered with and part of the trail of Irelands Ancient East…Wander through time….. and we love to tell the buildings story at any given opportunity! Located within the same building is our Bed and breakfast Each Apartment has Free Wifi. We also have limited secure storage for bicycles if required but this must be pre-booked in advance of your stay. There is ample free parking surrounding the building and some metered areas also.

We have a combination of spacious apartments in our beautiful 16th Century building. Our Studio apartment has 1 double bedrooms and q twin bedroom, sleeping up to 4 guests & is situated on the 1st floor. Our 2-bedroom apartments have a double & twin room that can comfortably sleep 4 people sharing these are situated on the 2nd & 3rd floor. There is a double sofa bed in these apartments that can be utilised if you wish. The 3-bedroom apartments each contain 3 twin rooms these can comfortably sleep 6 people sharing these are situated on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floor. Our 5 bedrrom split level apartment can sleep up to 9 people sharing and is situated on the 2nd and3rd floor. Each apartment contains original features such as the four-foot stone walls & original wooden beams which have been lovingly restored in a project that has taken the family 30 years so far. Each apartment has beautiful views overlooking King John’s Castle and the countryside beyond. These features have been integrated simply and tastefully to suit modern day living without compromising their unique beauty or significance. Each apartment has a bathroom and/or shower and a comfortable sitting room with 32" Flat Screen TV. There is a kitchenette, fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle, airfryer, and George foremanGrill (there is no oven/hob in the apartment). Our deluxe family suite is a two bedroom apartment to the rear of the property. Sleeping up to six sharing, bedroom one contains 2 single beds and bedroom two has 4 single beds, along with a Kitchenette containing a kettle a toaster a microwave a fridge freezer a George Foreman grill an air fryer and a dishwasher along with a separate living/dining room.

The Apartments are just a minute’s walk from the sea with the Quay of Dungarvan just down the street which boasts both beautiful views of the surrounding area and many related activities. The Greenway walking and cycling track, Sea Fishing, trout & salmon fishing Clonea Beaches & many more, The Cunnigar, Ardmore and Mahon Falls to name a few areas and activities that are all within a short walk or drive of the apartments. Fantastic Golf Courses surround Dungarvan. The Art Centre, Museum, Famine Walk & Graveyard and of course the Castle again to name a few are also very close to the apartments many within short walking distance for the culturally curious amongst you. Shopping is just a short walk away with shops ranging from unique little shops to the larger retail stores. Dungarvan boasts excellent night life with live traditional music in the many pubs and nightclubs all within 5-10 minute walking distance from the apartments. There is something to do for all ages and we pride ourselves on ensuring we know as much as possible to guide you along your way. Cork is just over an hours drive away and Waterford is just over 50kms from our building.
