The location couldn’t be any better for a city visit. The house is located at the edge of the residential area, on a street that usually goes by the name Embassy Street since most embassies in Iceland are located on it. All the best restaurants are within 2-10 min walking distance. There are lots of attractions in a short walking distance and only a few steps and you are in the city center, with it’s buzzing cafes, shops and restaurants, art galleries and nice little shops. The house is very close to City Hall, the harbor, the cathedral and the city pond. Our street, Túngata, is a beautiful part of the old town. Many embassies are located on that street and the houses are some of the oldest and most beautiful in Reykjavik. You are right in the city center but in a quiet spot so that the house is perfect for groups of all ages and sizes. Perfect for families as well. Bus stop nr. 1 (City Hall) is just two minutes away (by foot).
