Inside the House The home has 2 cozy bedrooms: Bedroom 1: one 140 cm bed Bedroom 2: one 120 cm bed The kitchen is equipped with a small stove and an air fryer, perfect for simple home cooking. Please note that most windows cannot be opened — only the window in the middle bedroom can be opened for fresh air. The loft area is not for guest use, but if you would like access, please let us know in advance, and we can make special arrangements. ⚠️ Hot Tub Use Policy (Winter Notice) Dear guests, please note that the hot tub is not available for use during the winter months or whenever the temperature falls below 0°C. Using the hot tub in freezing conditions can cause serious damage to the equipment. We kindly ask you not to fill, use, or turn on the hot tub during these times. Thank you for your understanding and for helping us keep the equipment in good condition! 💧❄️ Winter Access Notice❄️ Our summerhouse is located in Holkot, Ólafsfjörður. Please note: During winter, heavy snow and icy conditions are common. The last part of the road from Ólafsfjarðarvegur turning left into Holkot is never cleared of snow. 4x4 vehicles are strongly recommended. Guests should be comfortable driving in snowy, icy, and unplowed road conditions. Alternatively, guests can park on Ólafsvegur and walk the last section, but be prepared for snow and uneven paths. We want all our guests to have a safe and enjoyable stay. If you are not comfortable with winter driving in Icelandic conditions, we kindly suggest booking during summer or late spring.
