My name is Olga Lind and I am the host at Tjörn 1. I want my guests to feel comfortable at Tjörn and therefore try to have everything as clean and comfortable as possible.
My husband and I are sheep farmers and I love the wool from our Icelandic sheep, I send the wool to a small spinning factory in the south (Upspuni) and then knit from this high quality yarn and I often have this yarn for sale in the small sales cabinet in the guest house and sometimes also knitted products.
I am usually there to welcome guests, show them the place and answer questions.
If you want to know more about the guesthouse or my wool then you can send me a message on Instagram under the name Lopalind.

Tjörn 1 is located on the west side of Vatnnes, where the sunset is exceptionally beautiful in the summer. The guest house is homely and beautiful with a well-equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook a good meal, and in the dining room it's nice to sit by the window and enjoy the food and the view. There is a shared lounge with a TV, family games and puzzles. The bathroom is shared with a large shower, towels and basic toiletries. There is also another bathroom without a shower. There are only 4 rooms in the guest house, so most of the time it's quiet and a good time in the Icelandic countryside.
