I left a job in the city center to follow my passions: mountains, nature, natural farming, photography, cooking. In 2011 I opened a small farm with the possibility of staying in an old stone house refreshed with green building techniques. We don't want to be only a simple B & B but a space where guests can learn the territory and its culture through the vegetable garden, the trails through meadows and woods, and the history and legends of the place.

A rural stone house, surrounded by 15.000 square meters of meadows and woods with the framework of the Dolomites. It is placed on the side of a green hill at 650 meters above sea-level. These are the numbers of a priceless biodiversity which you can discover in the farm and B&B Orto Alpino, that has inherited a small slice of unpolluted nature in Valbelluna. It harvests the fruits of this astonishing place with the least environmental impact and, at the same time, it wants to be an enjoyable guest in its beauty. Every string of grass, flower, bee or earthworm is funcional to the wealth of Orto Alpino. As you can understand there are many actors, who, thanks to natural symbiosis, allow us to be the director of the best play on earth. The privacy of our guests is extremely important. We will provided it together with our friendship and discretion. Alternatively, we offer our guests le chance to become a part of a typical rural community of Valbelluna and the Dolomites, along with its biorhythm, colours, flavours and tastes.

The B&B is connected to the world by a paved road, used also by buses and always feasibile even in winter, as it is necessary for the local people. DolomitiBus provides a public transport service that links the underlying village (S. Antonio Tortal, 1.5 km far) to the train stations of Feltre and Belluno. The bus routes are few but, if you plan your trip on time, the transport service would be convenient and easy. If you need, we can pick you up at the bus station in S. Antonio Tortal. Moreover, it is possible to offer lifts to and from the valleyfloor or the S. Boldo Pass, starting point for many excursion trips.
