Borgo Le Lanterne was created from the renovation of a farmhouse dating back to the early 1900s. Its name refers to the three ancient lanterns that adorn its perimeter, which have been finely restored to their original beauty. The farmhouse is surrounded by green vineyards and hills where peace and quiet reign supreme. It is located between Follina and Cison di Valmarino, both listed as “Borghi più belli d'Italia” (Italy's most beautiful villages), in the splendid setting of the Prosecco Hills, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2019. The property is partly inhabited by the host and offers accommodation with a separate entrance, three double bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen (fridge, induction hob, dishwasher) and a dining area. The property also features a large garden with an outdoor dining area and sun loungers, and a convenient semi-covered indoor car park with an electric car charging station. A bicycle storage room is also available on request, with the possibility of recharging electric bikes. For more information about the property and services, visit the Borgo Le Lanterne website!
My name is Michela, and I have always been passionate about tourism and hospitality. I have always dreamed of welcoming tourists from all over the world to promote our wonderful region. I have been working as a flight attendant for many years with great passion. I speak fluent English, French, and German, and I hope to share new stories and experiences with you. My husband Emanuele started out as a gardener and, with his passion for greenery, he will make sure that every corner of the garden is perfectly manicured and ready for your arrival! He will also take care of welcoming you when I am travelling around the world! Our cat Milo, the mascot of the house, also lives with us! The property is located a few minutes' walk from the historic centres of the villages of Follina, where you can visit the Abbey of Santa Maria, an ancient Cistercian monastery, and Cison di Valmarino, dominated from above by Castelbrando, the ancient residence of the noble Brandolini family. A short distance away are Valdobbiadene, the cradle of Cartizze, Conegliano and Vittorio Veneto, from where you can access the nearest motorway entrance (Vittorio Veneto Nord). Venice and Cortina are just over an hour's drive away. Don't miss a visit to the village of Rolle, which offers a splendid 360-degree view of the Colline Eroiche. The area is ideal for numerous excursions on foot, by bicycle, on horseback, on a historic Vespa or in a charming vintage car. Every day, you can visit the many wineries in the area, which offer wine tastings accompanied by tasty Venetian cicchetti. The area organises numerous events throughout the year, including the famous “Primavera del Prosecco” (Prosecco Spring) and the ancient “Artigianato Vivo” (Living Crafts) fair, and is the venue for international cycling races such as the “Nova Eroica Prosecco Hills”.
