The stunning views over the mountains and villages are breath taking and Casa Barile has been restored and equipped so beautifully in traditional Italian style and you will not miss out on any of life's comforts. This is so much more than a regular holiday house - you will be beautifully set up for a life-long love affair with Italy! The house and barn are cleverly joined together at first floor level where there is a terrace accessible via the kitchen from the main Casa and from the sitting room of the Barn. This means that 2 or 3 families, or groups of friends, have plenty of room to themselves yet can enjoy al fresco living together. It also means that a family can also holiday with other guests whilst everyone retains some privacy and space. The main Casa is on 3 levels with two of the three bedrooms (a master double and a twin) at the top and third double (or twin) bedroom in the converted cantina. The barn is on two levels with bedrooms below the living room (a double and a twin). Both have their own living room and kitchen. Cots are also available for little ones. The solar heated saltwater pool, has wide shallow entrance steps and a poolside shower. Pool towels provided.

Fosciandora is in the stunning Garfagnana region of Tuscany, which is known for its wonderful scenery and delicious food. Castelnuovo di Garfagnana only ten minutes away is full of shops and restaurants. Enjoy the breathtaking views and lovely walks that can be taken from the doorstep of the villa. It is easy to visit the wonderful towns of Lucca, Pisa, and Florence, while trips to the beaches make for a fun day out. For something different, visit the nearby marble mines in Carrara or explore the caves at the Grotta del Vento.
