Lake Orta offers you a spectacular natural scenery and romantic villages, including Omegna and Orta San Giulio, where, in addition to the characteristic squares and alleys, you can discover stores selling local specialties and enjoy the view of the lake while sipping an aperitif or a cappuccino. Visit also the small island of San Giulio with the Basilica of San Giulio, a small Romanesque church. On the western shore of the lake you can visit the ancient village of Pella, while a few kilometers from the lake you can taste excellent wines made with regional products in the wineries.
