CasaCuadra is the home were everything fits or, as we would say in Italian, "everything squares" or I do my best to. It's also a tribute to the fact that Trieste host the biggest square in front of the sea in Europe, Piazza Unità d'Italia! Just uphill of the old town and at walk distance to the San Giusto Castle and Cathedral, there are these 85 squares (them too!) metres facing to the Orto Lapidario and the San Giusto cathedral. The apartment is at the third floor with lift. Photography by Marco Covi.
Daniela works in the hotellerie since several years, and love to provide useful suggestions to make you discover Trieste, like only a local can help you to do. She's not a squared lady, yet in general she squares the circle! She loves books, good music and the nature. It's not a casa that the CasaCuadra is in the old town, yet with a big terrace facing gardens and the sea.
The San Giusto Castle and Cathedral are very close. From there you can enjoy one of the best view of the Gulf from the top. The old town and the Cavana district are just downhill. From there you reach the biggest square in front of the sea in Europe by the left side, Piazza Unità d'Italia (absolutely don't miss it by night) and the Audace pier. Very close to the Svevo and Joyce Museum too.
