Our rooms bear the names of the plants that grow on the Maremma coast and perfume the garden surrounding the Relais, such as Mortella, the wild myrtle from which the name derives and then ... Rosemary, Alloro, Sage, Strawberry tree, Lavender, Wisteria, Broom and Jasmine.
Nine rooms of different types, from the smallest double room with a French size bed, to double rooms with private patio or with a panoramic view, triple rooms with a private patio furnished with a table and chairs and a quadruple room consisting of two separate rooms, with a panoramic view.

Put together a suggestive place and an ancient hunting lodge from the end of the 19th century renovated in the "Tuscan country" style immersed in the greenery of the Mediterranean scrub in a suggestive and relaxing atmosphere.
We are in the Tuscan Maremma, at the Country Relais La Mortella, in Porto Ercole, included among the most beautiful villages in Italy, the ideal place for a romantic getaway or for those who need to regenerate in total tranquillity, surrounded by the typical nature of this area wild Maremma.

In this context, where nature fascinates and captivates, there are numerous paths to follow by trekking, mountain biking or on horseback, along suggestive itineraries immersed in the crystal clear sea, the green hills, the fields of a thousand colors and the wonderful beaches.
Around the sea of the Argentario, with its ports, coves and rocks, the lagoon of Orbetello with the beaches of Giannella and Feniglia, the Maremma Park with paths between nature, culture and adventure.
The sea lends itself well to scuba diving and snorkelling. The seabed is stupendous, rich in fish and colours, with caves to explore and wrecks to discover.
Thanks to the mild climate, the Maremma and the Argentario offer a wide choice of activities that can be carried out not only in summer, but in all seasons of the year…. the wide choice is yours!
