Set in the centre of Ortisei, Hotel Angelo Engel offers a free wellness centre, free hiking and skiing excursions, and a traditional restaurant. All Alpine-style rooms include an LCD TV and free WiFi.
The Angelo is 500 metres from the Alpe di Siusi, Europe's largest high altitude Alpine meadow. The hotel runs a free winter ski bus to the village and all surrounding ski lifts.
The rooms have warm wooden furnishings and feature satellite and SKY channels. Each comes with a bathrobe, slippers and a toiletry set. Most rooms feature a balcony.
Guests can enjoy a varied sweet and savoury buffet breakfast at the Angelo Engel. The restaurant serves local and Italian cuisine at lunch and dinner.
The spa area includes an indoor pool, a hot tub and a Turkish bath. Several saunas invite to relax. The heated outdoor pool is available all year and features a hydromassage area. Beauty treatments and massages are also available.
「The location was great, cable carts for both Seceda and Alpe Di Sussi were walkable (~5mins). The rooms are cosy and clean, and the spa facilities are great. We also didn’t realise that afternoon snacks were included which was a great bonus.」
