The apartment is located just outside the walls of the town of Sutri, next to Porta Franceta (the ancient entrance to town going back to Etruscan times. From here, one can reach the centre of town through a picturesque cobbled stone street, which opens onto Sutri’s iconic main square, famous for the many movies and advertisements filmed here. Free Parking is easily found both next to or opposite the apartment, which is located on the ground floor and has an outside sitting area. The open space apartment has a fully equipped kitchen and 1 bathroom with shower and bidet. The room has a/c, heating, TV, fridge, free wifi, kettle, microwave, coffee machine. The room can host up to 4 people, there is a double bed and 2 singles.

Sutri is a very ancient town. The Archaeological Park of Sutri presents a variety of historical periods, one can admire Etruscan and paleo Christian necropoli, a Mithraum and an amphitheater unique in its kind, entirely excavated in the rock. The town still presents its medieval setting, located ob the famous pilgrimage route Via Francigena. Sutri is small but was a very eventful town in the past. Don’t miss the Cathedral. Sutri is the perfect spot to explore Tuscia, just 37 miles north of Rome, visitors should check out the nearby sites of Caprarola (Palazzo Farnese), Abandoned Town of Monterano, the Medieval city of Viterbo and Villa Lante in Bagnaia, the lakes Vici, Bracciano, Bolsena, the monster park of Bomarzo, and the many castles in the area (Bracciano, Vignanello, Soriano). The area around Viterbo is also famous for the thermal baths which inspired Dante and the setting for Inferno.
