The apartment is located in Florence Rifredi area, it's a quiet residential neighborhood, well served by public transportation, by bus or train because it turns out to be important core of the university town as it is adjacent to the main hospital in the city. I will be happy to recommend great places to eat good typical Florentine dishes at modest prices and less trade and tourism but also for the local aperitif, after-dinner and the night.The bus stop it's just in front of the main door. A few minutes away from home (on foot) there is a big supermarket just behind the house. The area has great bars and cake shops where you can have breakfast. (Check on my guide tips) The apartment is easy to reach from the Central Train Station (Santa Maria Novella) but it's located very nearby Rifredi train station (5min by foot). Two of the best 'Gelaterie' are at foot distance, two good Pizzerias are at max. 5 minutes from the apt. and at 'The Flog' you can always listen to live concerts every night or go in summer season to swimming pool. Focal point near apartment is Piazza Dalmazia, where there are several number of shops. Closer to home there are supermarkets like "Conad” in via Michelazzi, or just get down to the apartment there is a delicatessen with top quality products, before check their timetable. The apartment is a good starting point for visiting the Medici Villas of Castello, Petraia and Villa Corsini, at around 2 km (Check-on website). At a short walk from the apartment, in Via Reginaldo Giuliani, there are the Liberty style factory of the famous Officina Profumo - Farmaceutica of Santa Maria Novella (check-on website), with a shop of its products.
